THEME: MANAGEMENT FOR LEGAL

LEGAL SUITE had the pleasure of welcoming more than 230 guests to this years “Journée de la Performance Juridique” which was held last Tuesday December 2nd at the Salon Hoche in Paris.

The conference and debates were lead by Charlotte Karila Vaillant – Consultant and Journalist for the legal profession. This was the second edition of the event, and we were honoured to have the presence of M. Francois Garnier, President of the Circle Montesquieu and Marc-Allain Irissou, President of AFJE amoung us.

The welcome speech was given by Brigitte Cauvin, Director of Sales and Marketing for LEGAL SUITE.

The opening conference theme included “major issues for legal directors” and was organised in partnership with LEGITEAM and the Village of Justice.

The first conference of the afternoon dealt with the “memory of the Legal Business” and “Legal Knowledge management”, key to legal performance.

The last conference demonstrated why and how “Legal Performance should be measured” through “KPI’s” (Key Performance Indicators): Management tools and Communication to directors.

As closing to this day, Mr. Thierry Mallat, Director of Technologies for LEGAL SUITE, introduced for the first time, its latest innovation, the new corporate portal: “Open Law™”.

We had the great honour of receiving Mr. Bartholomew Mercadal, Professor Emeritus of the “Conservatoire National des Arts et Metier”, Vice President of IDEF (“Institut international de Droit d’Expression et d’inspiration Francaises”) who gave the closing speech of the day.

Finally, for the third consecutive year LEGAL SUITE made the appointments for the grand prize for the best Legal IT project of the year. The 2008 award went to “Caisse de Depots et Consignation” for its application called CD Juris.
The CD Juris application is a federal pilot program. It is complete and reliable and takes into account the confidentiality of information and can track all subsidiaries, dividends and the mandates for the groups allowing to respond to legal and tax authorities.
